We’re updating the way Google Health (formerly Fitbit) connects to Evidation. To continue earning points from Google Health (Fitbit) activity, you’ll need to reconnect Google Health (Fitbit) in the Evidation app. Once you reconnect, Evidation can continue receiving eligible Fitbit activity.
What you need to do
- Open the Evidation app.
- Go to the My Health tab.
- At the top menu, tap Connect App.
- Select Google Health Fitbit.
- Tap Connect.
- Follow the prompts to authorize your Google Health (Fitbit) connection.
Do I still use my Fitbit device and Google Health app?
Yes. You can continue using your Fitbit device and Google Health app as usual. This update only changes how Fitbit connects to Evidation.
What happens if I don’t reconnect?
If you do not reconnect Fitbit Evidation may stop receiving your activity from this app, and you may stop earning eligible points.
Do I need a Google Account?
Yes. Fitbit requires users to move their Fitbit account to a Google Account. If you have not already done that, open the Fitbit app and follow Google’s prompts to move your account.
